• SBC Missions Offerings: One percent of our receipts is set aside each month and divided between the Mary Hill Davis Mission Offering for state (Texas) mission work, the Annie Armstrong Mission Offering for mission work within the United States, and the Lottie Moon Mission Offering for international mission work. These offerings are dedicated 100% directly to work on the mission field.
  
• Buckner Orphanage: Buckner OrphanCare International supports Christian work with orphanages worldwide. We send a half percent of our income to help this cause, the orphanage in Romania in particular.
  
• Campus Crusade Missionaries: We help support the Goertzen family who served as missionaries in Russia for many years and now work training future missionaries who will serve in foreign countries.
  
• Open Door Christian Camp: Our money is sent to the Advancing Native Missions to direct to this camp. The camp is located in a facility where until a few years ago Communists used to indoctrinate children to believe in atheism. Today the camp is used to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over 124 have accepted Christ to date. Bible conferences and pastoral training seminars occur there as well.

Pray

It is always important that we remember to pray for the missionaries around our world that are sacrificing the security of their home in order to travel to distant lands spreading the good news to where it is not found. More specifically we ask that you would add to your prayer list the ministries listed above.

We currently have several in our church that take individual mission trips to several countries throughout our world. Soon we will be exploring areas around the world that our church wants to invest in by sending short-term mission groups.
