• Association Missions –SodaLake Baptist Association (SLBA): This is an association of Southern Baptist churches in Harrison and Marion counties. Three percent of our income goes to SLBA to help support the ministries carried out by that organization which includes a Ministry Center that provides clothing, and other household needs to local residents, as well as several counseling ministries. 

• Strategy Ministries: One of the counseling ministries, which was identified earlier by a strategy plan, at SLBA is provided through Buckner Counseling Ministry at the association office. A half percent of our income goes to help support this ministry, as well as pay for counseling for those persons needing it but who are unable to afford the full cost. The money could also be used for other ministries to local residents as identified. 

• Marshall Hispanic Mission: Iglesia Bautista Neuva Vida is a mission established by several churches through the Soda Lake Baptist Assocaition to minister to our local Hispanic population. We contribute a half percent of our income to the work of this mission. 

• Bridge of Compassion: We send a half percent each month to help fund this local agency which helps needy persons obtain food, perscription medicines, pay for utilities and/or shelter. 

• Living Alternatives: A half percent of our offerings is sent to help support this organization established to help women with crisis counseling during pregnancy. 

• Marshall Food Pantry: One percent of our annual Budget goes to this local agency that is dedicated to helping needy persons obtain food. Most of their stock comes through donations. 

• Twelve-Way Foundation: This is a local ministry whose purpose is to offer assistance and support to men who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. The money we donate helps them accomplish this goal. 

• My Friend’s House: We give a portion of our annual income to this ministry that helps the homeless with a place to stay, as well as food, clothing, and other items.

Pray

IBC Intercessory Prayer Ministry:  We currently have an intercessory prayer ministry with a prayer room. Each of our intercessors take one hour during the week to spend time praying for requests and sending prayer grams. This is a blessing to everyone that is involved. If you would like to commit yourself to spending one hour a week in the prayer room please contact the church office.

Impact Marshall Teams

We now provide all kinds of avenues for people with different gifts to be involved in outreach to our community. Each Impact Team is led by devoted laypersons with a heart for the people of Harrison County. Feel free to contact the church office on how you can become involved with one of these ministries.
