KIDS ROCK is our new Wednesday night discipleship program for kids! We offer 3 different curriculums for three specific age groups. Lil’ K, by KidMo, is the new program for preschoolers. Lil’ K is an interactive media-based curriculum. It’s Dora meets Blues Clues meets Jesus!! There is singing, Scripture memory, a Bible Story, activities a snack and much more!! Tiffany Daly directs this program that runs Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 PM from September-April.

“This I Know” is a two day a week Mother’s Day Out-type program, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM-2:30 PM. Our day school program strives to stimulate children mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, at his or her individual stage of development. Children’s Worship is a program designed to introduce children ages 3 years through Kindergarten to congregational worship and to equip them to join in that worship at the appropriate time. Preschoolers have the opportunity to participate in the regular 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM worship service with their parents and are dismissed before the sermon to the Children’s Building. They then go to the 3 Year or Pre-K classrooms, depending on age, for a Bible story and a time of hands-on learning; including crafts and games. Children are picked up in their classrooms at the conclusion of the worship service. Diana Williams heads up this year round program.

Nurseries & Sunday School:  We are incredibly blessed to have such an amazing group of nursery workers and Sunday School teachers! Our Nurseries are sanitized, warm and loving places that all little ones feel safe and accepted in. Beginning at age 2, we have Sunday School classes at 8:15 and 9:45 AM for every age group. Our classes are very active, utilizing different learning techniques to help the children learn as much as they possibly can. All of our Nursery workers are professionally background checked and all volunteers are reference checked before working with our kids! All Nurseries and Sunday School are offered year round.

We offer Wee Praise Kid’s Choir for 3 year olds through prekindergarten. The choirs meet from 5:30 to 7 PM on Sundays. Kids will be working on a musical and will be singing in worship services as well. Wee Praise is directed by Jody Sparkman and assisted by Lila Bartlett & Laurie Thompson. Kid’s Choir runs September-March.

Immanuel’s Treasures Buddy Ministry:  Special needs kids are warm, loving and ready to teach you things you’ve never even considered. We welcome all children at Immanuel Baptist and we have a place for your child. If you need information about this ministry, please contact Lauren.

Vacation Bible School:  June 11-15, 2012 VBS is a week long time of concentrated learning and fun for kids 3 years-5th grade every summer. This a free event and open to the community. Mark your calendars!! More details to come…
