Women’s Ministry
“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4
Our mission as the Immanuel Baptist Women’s Ministry is to love, encourage, and serve the women in our community by offering Bible Studies and Special Events that draw them to Christ, promote spiritual growth and reflect His character to our community.
Everything about the Women’s Ministry is planned with the unique needs of women in mind. Through Bible Studies, mom’s groups, retreats and special events, we provide opportunities for women in all circumstances to become fully developing followers of Christ while building lasting relationships with women just like you.
Many weekly Bible studies are always underway, led by lay-women with a passion for serving the women of this church. See class information below.

Made to Crave by Lisa Terkuerst
Facilitator: Meagan Morse
Made to Crave isn’t a how-to book or a diet plan. The truth is, it’s much more than that. It’s the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment needed to make it happen. Lysa Terkeurst taps into the desires God gave us to consume food without letting it consume us. She reminds readers that craving isn’t a bad thing, but we must remember that God wants us to crave more of Him, not food.
- Sunday Evenings at 5:30pm
Wising Up by Beth Moore
