A Movement of Every Day Generosity

It's amazing to see God's creativity, love, and generosity on full display each and every day. Our church family generously gives their time, service, talents, and treasures through so many acts of worship, and we invite you to join us in our movement of every day generosity!

Whether it be serving with our Kid's Ministries, donating your time with our outreach ministries, using our online giving services, or dropping a contribution into the offering plate, each and every act of generosity matters and helps change the lives of others. Everyone's gifts and service are acts of worship that truly bring us all closer to our Creator!

Here at IBC we have several ways that you can give financially:

Give Online

Text-To-Give

You can simply text the word Give to this number: 903-329-GIVE. It will then text you back a link. You can click on the link that will take you to a web page. Then you can click "Sign In," which will then send you to another page where you can click "Register for an Account." After you go through the process to register for an account, then you will be set up to easily give in the future through text.

Give Through Stocks

IBC has set up an investment brokerage account. What this means is people can give shares of stock or mutual funds to this church account. This allows the giver to have a significant tax benefit because the gift itself is a tax deduction, and they will not be taxed on the growth of the investment. This same opportunity not only applies to stocks and mutual funds but also to a traditional IRA. You can access this account by working through Edward Jones or anyone else that manages your accounts.

Give In Person

You are welcome to bring your contribution to church with you on Sundays and place it in one of the offering plates after each Worship Service. Or you can bring it by the office anytime during the week.

Giving FAQs

Why We Give

As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving extravagantly to the progress of the gospel in our community and world. Biblical generosity is not about meeting budget needs.It is about a rich and trusting relationship with a living God. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving is performed with regularity, from the first portion of all we are given, as a proportion of our income, cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.

What is Tithing?

Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us about a baseline standard for giving: the tithe (a word that literally means a “tenth”). When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific projects at our local church and to other organizations and causes that we personally believe in.

Whether you’d like to give a single gift, schedule recurring donations, or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It’s quick, easy, and secure. Both Church Center and Immanuel Baptist Church maintain full Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance via the SecurityMetrics PCI Certification Program, which means your data is rigorously protected through the industry's strictest equipment safeguards and security protocols. That means you can give with confidence!

Giving Statements

You have the ability to access your contributions at anytime by Clicking Here and registering for a login.

You will also receive a contribution statement at the beginning of every year for your tax purposes.
