Serve | Missions

The mission of the church is to share the message of Jesus Christ with all people- locally and internationally. From multiple international trips each year to partnerships with local ministries, we are always striving to fulfill the Great Commission. We understand that missions should be lived out on a church level, community level, and individual level as well.

Reaching Out with the love of jesus

IBC Ministry teams

You don't have to go far to find a mission.  We are all called to be missionaries right where we are.  Marshall has many needs for your service.  Listed below are many of the local ministries we currently have at IBC for you to plug into. Have a look at our different outreach programs and prayerfully consider if you’d like to get involved—or if you have a need of your own.

Reaching Out with the love of jesus

local missions partners

We love our community and want to bless our neighbors by being the hands and feet of Jesus. A number of IBC local missions partners share the hope of Jesus with the people living in our city. You can be a part of serving with these partners regularly.

Bringing christ to the world

global missions

We take the Great Commission seriously and personally. Twenty percent of every undesignated dollar goes to mission causes outside our own church. With this money, we help support the vocational missionaries of the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board. We support these missionaries through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. We also support the ministries of several other missionary efforts and para-church ministries both locally and globally. Our goal is to support missionary efforts on every continent of the world.
The desire of our church is for individuals to experience missions personally. We take annual mission trips to locations all over the world. Join us in our desire to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to Marshall, our State, our Country, and the World for the glory of His name!
