The IBC Worship Ministry provides an opportunity for believers to use their giftedness as an act of worship and an act of spiritual leadership. Those gifts may be expressed through a variety of vocal and/or instrumental musical opportunities. We hope that you will prayerfully consider using your gift on one or more of our worship teams.

Adult Worship Choir

At IBC, the Adult Choir is the largest worship leading team. This group is made up of people from all walks of life and varying degrees of talent and experience. The one thing that all members have in common is a sincere desire to use their gifts to worship God through music.

We gather each week to worship, laugh, encourage, and challenge each other. The Adult Choir is open to anyone of College age or older who has a genuine relationship with the Lord and wants to worship through singing. An audition is NOT required.

Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  in the Worship Center.

Sunday Morning Praise Band

The IBC Praise Band is a group of gifted musicians who lead worship each week with the Adult Choir as well as by themselves. This group is made up of people with a wide variety of musical experience, education, and preference but the common bond is a desire to offer their gifts to the Lord through music. The instrumental ministry of IBC also extends throughout the community as they play music for a number of special events.

The Praise Band is the musical backbone of the IBC Worship Ministry. The band utilizes drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, along with other instruments in order to lead worship with our other worship teams. The ability to read music is not required but is extremely helpful. The ability to read chord charts IS required. A formal audition is not required to be on this team, however, there will be an opportunity to make sure that the necessary skill level is available.
