Hey IBC,
Today is Good Friday! One of the reasons we know Good Friday is good is because Sunday is coming! Our Jesus did not stay in the tomb for very long, but rose from the grave! Scripture says that Jesus was placed in a borrowed tomb on Good Friday. Have you ever paid attention to the word “borrowed''? It was borrowed because he wouldn't need it very long! That's our Jesus! I am so excited to worship with you this Easter Sunday. Please remember that our worship services will be a little different. We will have two worship services at 9:30 and 11:00 with no Life Groups. Would you please invite everyone the Lord lays on your heart? I cannot begin to fathom what the Lord will do this Sunday, but I know that we will celebrate our life-giving Savior and that the Gospel will be presented! Also, come hungry because there will be an excellent breakfast for all who attend!
MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT:
TOMORROW is EASTER'S TREASURE! Join us at Marshall City Park from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. for a great time of food, games, crafts, and an egg hunt! This is for any child from birth through 6th grade. Easter’s Treasure is a fantastic event we put on every year for our children and community. While we have a blast, the whole focus is on revealing the real treasure of Easter!
PASTOR'S PRAYER REQUEST:
Church, would you join me in praying for Easter Sunday? This is always a huge opportunity to see our church filled more than usual with guests and many who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will be felt, the Lord will move, and many will respond to the truth of the Gospel.
