Hey IBC,
I am so excited to celebrate IBC's 75th anniversary with you this Sunday. This will be an exciting day as we celebrate how the Lord blessed a small congregation 75 years ago and turned it into what we enjoy today. We will use extra seating and overflow to be together for one service at 10:30 am. We will not have morning Life Groups tomorrow. After the service, we will offer a free lunch via food trucks to extend our time of fellowship and celebration.
MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT:
We are looking forward to this year's LOVE WEEK 2022 coming up soon! This will be our biggest year yet, where we will reach out to more people than ever! We will gather to spread out in our teams on Wednesday, June 1st - Saturday, June 4th. We are encouraging our entire church to be involved in some way. I have had so many people tell me in the past that they would love to take part in this, but they have to work during the day. Well, this year you can! Not only will we be bringing Love Week into the weekend, but we are also bringing back our evening Block Party team led by Clayton Bennet. They will be going out to different neighborhoods from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and throwing a party with bounce houses, a cookout, games, and Bible study for the kids. This will be an incredible outreach to our neighbors! Or you can sign up for one of the other great teams that we have available during the day! PASTOR'S PRAYER REQUEST:
We have been highly blessed the last few weeks as the Lord has blessed us with numerous decisions and many new families joining and visiting IBC for the first time. My prayer for IBC is that He would use us to reach the unreached, and He has blessed that prayer. Everyone needs Jesus, and everyone needs the church. Would you continue to join me in praying that the Lord would bring anyone and everyone through our doors for us to love and minister to?
