HEY IBC,
We have an exciting announcement…… Easter is coming! I hope you have begun making plans and inviting people to our Easter services. We will have 2 services at 9:30 and 11 am with no Life groups. We will be operating on our regular schedule tomorrow.
MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT:
Our Children's Ministry each year puts on a fantastic outreach event called Easter's Treasure. This event will be held a week from today at Marshall City Park. We have invited the community to join us for a time of crafts, food, games, an Easter egg hunt, and most importantly, the Gospel will be shared with all the children that attend. Each year, church members donate the candy for this event, and candy donations are off to a great start, but we definitely need more. If you would like to donate candy, you can drop it off anytime this week up to Wednesday evening. We are blessed to have the opportunity to reach so many families in our community. Thank you for your help!
PASTOR'S PRAYER REQUEST:
Church, would you join me in praying for Easter Sunday? This is always a huge opportunity to see our church filled more than usual with guests and many who do not know Christ as the Savior. Please pray for our staff and volunteers and all of those who will be in attendance!
SERMON PREVIEW:
How do you view yourself? Do you see yourself as a success story, or do you see yourself as a failure? In reality, we can be both at the same time. Tomorrow we will look at the success of a failure in the life of Peter. Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, and we will be coming walking through the triumphant entry to the cross through the lens of Peter. We will also be taking communion, so please prepare your heart to receive that ordinance.
