IBC Students

Our mission as the Student Ministry of IBC is to lead students to know and follow Jesus.  IBC is passionate about seeing students become leaders of today and tomorrow as they follow Jesus.  We do this by connecting them with their own peer groups in age-relevant environments.  Through dynamic Wednesday night worship services, Sunday morning Life Groups, Youth Covenant Groups, and various service projects, our goal is to produce disciples of Jesus that graduate with the ability to go make more disciples.

Wednesday Nights From 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

IBC Students Night is our Wednesday night worship service at The Grange, which provides a welcoming environment for all students in 6 - 12th grades. We create a fun atmosphere to allow students to hear Gospel-centered teaching, engage in worship with our praise band and enjoy a free meal. Students will enjoy basketball, gaga ball, football, ping pong, and other fun forms of fellowship!

student life groups

Life groups are our Sunday morning small groups designed to help students know Christ through Gospel-centered teaching. Students enjoy breakfast and a brief large group time before breaking up into age and gender specific discussion groups. They will discuss several topics throughout the year that is designed to speak into where they are at in life.

Sunday Evenings from 6:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

We believe when students surrender their lives to Christ, it is important to continue teaching and leading them to follow Jesus. Our Covenant Group ministry is a small group format designed to push students deeper in their walk. We lead them through a discipleship study over the course of the Fall and Spring Semesters. This ministry is for students that desire to dig deeper and become a front line leader to reach others for the Gospel! We meet on Sunday nights at 6:15 at the IBC Main Campus.

We understand the message of Jesus was not meant for us to keep to ourselves. We have various service projects and missions opportunities throughout the year—whether that is local apartment outreach, First Priority evangelism, Mission Marshall, or serving at the East Texas Food Bank in Tyler. Our hope is students would go into their spheres of influence and spread the Gospel message.
